Herbert has a lot to smile about these days. He was rescued from a life probably spent predominantly in a cage, is with a loving foster family, and is almost ready to be adopted to his forever home!

According to Amanda Robles, who's fostering the five-month-old pooch for PAWS animal shelter in Chicago, "He’s such a sweet boy and always wants to sleep in your lap. Now that he made u laugh, help find him a home!"
Sarah McDonald, a spokesman for PAWS Chicago says, "While in foster, he’s learning how to be a puppy, getting lots of cuddles, and working on training. He’s really come out of his shell wonderfully."
